8am Preparations Start

Your make-up designer & hairstylist will tell you what time you need to start getting ready, but depending on how many people you have you are going to need a few hours at least.

10am Photographer/videographer arrives

Usually I will arrive a couple of hours before you are due to leave for the ceremony. This is ample time to capture everything needed.

11am Florals Delivered

Again your florist will guide you on the best timings, but the later you get these delivered the fresher they will be.

1pm Time to say I DO!

Make sure you allow yourselves enough time to get to the church or venue & allow for any delays. A civil ceremony usually lasts around 20 minutes, a church ceremony usually between 30-60 minutes.

2pm Reception

This is the time after your ceremony where you can just breathe! We will use this time to do the formal group photos & your couple portraits, whilst giving you both the time to spend with your guests. Group Photos & portraits are going to take about an hour, so leaving 90+ minutes is normally perfect.

4pm Guests Seated

Now I am going to totally recommend that you do your speeches before the meal. Trust me, everyone is nervous so doing it first allows those people speaking a chance to actually enjoy their meal! It also means your tables will be clear & still look good!

7pm Evening Guest Arrive

The food normally takes a couple of hours, so leaving a little gap between that finishing and your evening guests' arriving allows for any delays and time for the room to be turned around in plenty of time.

8pm Cake Cut & First Dance

By this time all of your evening guests should have arrived and you will have had a chance to greet them. This is the perfect time to then cut up your cake and have your first dance as the newlyweds. Once you have had your dance you can invite everyone onto the dancefloor to start your evening off with a bang!

11pm-1am Carriages Home

Most venues close between these hours so it will be time for you to rest your weary feet and head to your beds for the night.
