Suffolk Family Photography - What To Wear To Your Session?

You have booked your session and now you are all freaking out about what you are going to wear! Well do not worry, I have put together a few handy tips to help get you all organised.

The most important tip is to dress comfortably, if you are not feeling the clothes you are wearing your body language is going to reflect that - so this is the number one rule.

Keep things simple - Solid colours work well, bold patterns, busy clothing and fluorescent colours are not ideal.

Be consistent - I am not saying you all have to match, but do think about co-coordinating your outfits. Chose a couple of colours, and maybe add a splash of something else and try and keep everyone to stick to that.

Darker colours slim people down - Fact!

If your session is on location at a wooded area (which it probably will be) avoid greens, we don’t want you to blend into the background.

Be bold - adding accessories will add dimension to your images, so dig out those belts, hats and cardigans.

Make sure you dress appropriately for the weather and location, you wouldn’t wear a suit and tie to the park so probably best not to wear it to your session.

Below are a few examples of what colours look good together…
