Suffolk Family Photography - What To Wear To Your Session?

You have booked your session and now you are all freaking out about what you are going to wear! Well do not worry, I have put together a few handy tips to help get you all organised.

✔️The most important tip is to dress comfortably, if you are not feeling the clothes you are wearing your body language is going to reflect that - so this is the number one rule.

✔️Keep things simple - Solid colours work well, bold patterns, busy clothing and fluorescent colours are not ideal. Avoid heavily branded clothing too unless you want to look like a commercial.

✔️Be consistent - I am not saying you all have to match, but do think about co-coordinating your outfits. Chose a couple of colours, and maybe add a splash of something else and try and keep everyone to stick to that.

✔️Darker colours slim people down - Fact!

✔️If your session is on location at a wooded area, avoid lots of greens, we don’t want you to blend into the background. (This does not mean you cannot have green though, just to be minimal with it, if you do).

✔️Be bold - adding accessories will add dimension to your images, so dig out those belts, hats and cardigans. Leave the sunglasses and baseballs caps at home!

✔️Make sure you dress appropriately for the weather and location. If your session is taking place at a location and its cold, please dress warm you can match up hats and scarfs if need be.
